Essay

Scientific work is devoted to the study of pain syndromes after stroke in the recovery and residual periods of the disease and the justification and optimization of complex treatment using the methods of acupuncture. Significant prevalence (more than 70% of patients) and the variety of pain signals an insufficient level of treatment and prevention measures, probably due to disregard for many of its features and lack of involvement and justification of additional non-drug therapies that can save patients from unwarranted drug polypragmacy. The aim of this work was to determine the features of pain syndromes in patients who have suffered a stroke and optimize comprehensive medical care using acupuncture methods.
