Essay

The object of research - the processes of phase formation of refractory barium aluminates in the system BaO-CoO-Al2O3 with a set of specified performance characteristics. The aim of the dissertation is to develop the technology of special cements based on compositions of BaO-CoO-Al2O3 system with high strength, fire resistance and resistance to aggressive environments and to study the possibility of replacing the main raw materials with waste from the chemical industry. Research methods and equipment: thermodynamic, X-ray phase, differential thermal, electron microscopic, statistical methods of planning an experiment using a computer. Physico-mechanical and technical properties of the developed materials were determined in accordance with DSTU. Theoretical and practical results: on the basis of the formulated scientific positions and the received experimental data effective refractory binders with a complex of the set operational characteristics on the basis of compositions of three-component oxide system BaO-CoO-Al2O3 with use of both raw materials as chemical reagents, and waste are developed. industry. Technical conditions for the production of experimental and industrial batch of barium aluminate cement have been developed. Novelty: the subsolidus structure of the ternary system BaO-CoO-Al2O3 was established for the first time; The possibility of obtaining refractory barium aluminate cements on the basis of BaO-CoO-Al2O3 system compositions both on the basis of chemical reagents and with the use of spent catalysts of PJSC "Severodonetsk Association of Nitrogen" and production of aminocaproic acid "features of phase formation processes are established. Degree of implementation: conditions of experimental production of OJSC SPE "DOMINANTA" (Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region), and scientific results of work in the educational process of NTU "KhPI". Field of application: the results of work can be used to solve new problems and promising areas of development of refractory binders, refractory concrete in enterprises in the manufacture of monolithic linings of complex configurations with high physical and mechanical and technical properties, and can be used in higher education in the training of specialists in the technology of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials.
