Essay

The aim of the dissertation is to create a reliable engineering method for calculating plate heat exchangers for heat recovery of exhaust gas flows based on research of processes of combined heat-mass transfer and hydrodynamics in two-phase steam-gas-condensate flow in channels of plate heat exchangers of complex geometric shape under cooling. The object of research is the process of condensation of water vapor from a mixture with air in the channels of plate heat exchangers and its use to increase the level of energy efficiency of production. The subject of research is the design and forecasting of operation of plate heat exchangers for heat utilization of exhaust gas streams with phase transition of one of the components. The dissertation is devoted to the decision of scientific and practical problems of modeling of work and optimum design of plate- and- frame heat exchangers for heat utilization of condensing secondary gases of drying process by the criterion of the annualized total cost.
