Badeinov O. Load dynamics and the improvement in elastic-damping characteristics of three-unit tractor-trailer traction-hitch devices.

The dissertation is devoted to the research and development of a calculation methodology and the improvement of three-unit tractor-trailer (road train) traction-hitch devices (THD) design. The process of load dynamics of three-unit tractor-trailer with elastic-damping traction-hitch devices in transient movement modes was taken as the object of research. The subject of research is loads dynamics and improving the elastic-damping characteristics of three-unit tractor-trailer with elastic-damping traction-hitch devices in the process of starting moving from a place, both in the mode of the highest load, and during emergency braking. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that for the first time the research method of THD load dynamics of three-unit tractor-trailers was elaborated and corresponding calculations of necessary THD elastic-damping characteristics were developed, taking into account specificity of three-unit tractor-trailers designs.
