Harhaun R. Development of the Technology for the Use of Polyorganosiloxanes as Extractants of Biologically Active Substances for Cosmetic Emulsions

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of scientific and practical problem of development of technology of reception and application of polyorganosiloxane plant extracts as ingredients of complex action for emulsions of cosmetic appointment. Emulsion – based products make up about 85% of the total volume of modern cosmetics. Emulsions for cosmetic purposes must be characterized by certain physicochemical parameters and provide targeted action, comfortable and pleasant sensations when applied to the skin, in most cases are multicomponent. This necessitates the enrichment of the base emulsion through the use of stabilizing agents, emollients, biologically active substances and other substances. In this regard, special attention should be paid to substances of the class of cosmetic organosilicon polymers, which can be used not only as classic components of cosmetic emulsions, but also as potential extractants of biologically active substances of plant origin.
