Essay

The object of research is a vortex-type mass transfer apparatus for effective absorption of ammonia by brine in soda production. The subject of research is the regularities of the absorption process and modeling of flows in vortex-type apparatus in the soda ash production. The thesis research is devoted to the development of an improved design of a vortex-type mass transfer apparatus for the absorption of ammonia from process gases, calculation and improvement of its technological indicators and operating modes. The results of the thesis have been tested and implemented, which is confirmed by the relevant acts.
