Thesis paper is devoted to the study of morphological features of the bladder of rats in the postnatal period in normal condition and after intrauterine administration of staphylococcal toxoid. The study was performed on 192 Wistar rats, which were divided into 3 groups: intact, control and experimental. Depending on the observation period, the rats in each group were divided into 8 subgroups. 8 animals were studied in each subgroup. Histological, morphometric, electron microscopic, immunohistochemical, histochemical and statistical research methods were used. Histological and morphometric methods were used to assess the size of the membranes, the height and thickness of the folds of the mucous membrane of the bladder, the dynamics of the cellular composition of the local immune system of the bladder, the number and size of microcirculatory vessels. The distribution of glycosaminoglycans in the connective tissue of the bladder was studied using 7 histochemical method (with subsequent processing by the “ImageJ” program). Peculiarities of distribution and dynamics of CD8⁺ lymphocytes, CD4⁺ lymphocytes, CD20⁺ lymphocytes, CD34⁺ endotheliocytes were studied using immunohistochemical method. Ultrastructural features epitheliocytes of the urothelium and endothelium of the bladder were clarified using electron microscopic method. The processing and analysis of the obtained data was carried out with the help of statistical methods. The morphometric criteria of the epithelial layer and proper plate of the mucous membrane of the bladder, muscular membrane, parts of the microvasculature and cells of hematogenous cell lineage of the connective tissue of the bladder of rats in normal condition and after prenatal administration of antigen were established in the work with the help of a complex morphological assessment.
