Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of actual scientific and technical problem on revealing the features of factors influence on the process of increasing alcohols in tanks by sublayer approach of fire extinguishing aerosol as a scientific basis for increasing the efficiency of system of sublayer fire extinguishing of tanks with alcohols. The relevance of the dissertation topic and the importance of using fire extinguishing aerosol for sublayer extinguishing of alcohols are substantiated in the work. It is theoretically substantiated that at sublayer aerosol supply the final fire-extinguishing effect is provided by the total action of the factors arising at the moment of passing through a liquid layer, and an exit of an aerosol on an alcohol surface. An experimental method has been developed and a study has been conducted to identify the influence of factors on the efficiency of the combustion cessation process in the case of sublayer aerosol supply from the bottom of an alcohol tank.
