This dissertation work embarks on a comprehensive experimental and theo- retical study of the possibilities of simplifying the design of a planar-on-liquids polymer solar collector, while maintaining its efficiency, and substantiation of optimal schemes of multifunctional solar systems for air conditioning and pro- duction of man-made artificial cold. The work presents an analytical review of the prospects for the develop- ment of renewable energy. Variants of solar multifunctional absorption systems, prospects of development of liquid polymeric solar collectors (SC), review of ab- sorbers with internal evaporative cooling are considered, as also the principles of development of schematic solutions of solar multifunctional absorption systems, the main critical solutions, and the fundamentals of thermodynamic analysis of these systems.
