Balarabe U. Optimization of treatment of renal cell carcinoma with adrenal metastases.

The presented work is devoted to improving the quality of treatment of renal cell carcinoma with adrenal metastases by developing optimal surgical tactics based on the study of various clinical, morphological and prognostic parameters of these patients. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that the dissertation contains a systematic and modern approach to solving the scientific problem, which involves improving the quality of treatment of patients with renal cell carcinoma with adrenal metastases. The obtained results of the scientific research allowed to supplement the clinical knowledge about the structure of synchronous ipsilateral pathology of the adrenal gland in patients with NKR. In particular, the frequency of malignant pathology of the adrenal gland in the groups of organ-sparing surgery and radical nephrectomy, as well as clinical and morphological features of adrenal metastases were demonstrated. The obtained results of the scientific research allowed to supplement the clinical knowledge about the structure of synchronous ipsilateral pathology of the adrenal gland in patients with NKR. In particular, the frequency of malignant pathology of the adrenal gland in the groups of organ-sparing surgery and radical nephrectomy, as well as clinical and morphological features of adrenal metastases were demonstrated. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the study and generalization of clinical experience in the treatment of renal cell carcinoma with adrenal metastases made it possible to identify optimal surgical approaches for various forms of adrenal metastases.
