A thesis presented for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty specialization 081 “Law” (08 – Law). – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Kyiv, 2021. Ph.D. thesis is the first complex research devoted to the problems of constitutional principles, their system-structural and functional features. The author analyzes the findings and recommendations of Ukrainian legal doctrine, scientific sources of Western researchers, world constitutions and constitutional acts, some laws, and decisions of constitutional (supreme) courts. This contributed to the disclosure of the research topic and the formulation of relevant conclusions. The structure of this scientific work meets the requirements for such a science paper, and therefore consists of an introduction, three sections, which are combined into eight subsections, conclusions, a list of used sources, and annexes.
