Essay

The study presents first attempt to determine the level of α1-antitrypsin in blood serum and feces and also calculate the clearance of α1-antitrypsin in patients with type II diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. It has been found out its informativeness for studying of the intestinal barrier dysfunction in these patients. The role of blood serum tryptophan level reducing, that occurs in dysbiosis of colon and intestinal barrier dysfunction, in the formation of psycho-emotional and depressive symptoms according to neuropsychometric testing, in patients with type II diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is demonstrated for the first time. The appropriateness of using a combined probiotic for the correction of neurovegetative and cognitive disorders in patients with type II diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is argued.
