Essay

Object of study – processes of growth, development and formation of pea seed yield and its quality at technical maturity depending on the influence of the studied elements of agrotechnology. The aim is to develop and improve elements of technology of cultivation of grades of sowing peas depending on presowing processing of seeds by growth regulators and biological products under various systems of protection of plants in the conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine. Methods - field - to monitor the growth and development of pea plants; laboratory - study of the impact of seed treatment and use of biological and chemical drugs during the growing season; analytical - to analyze the structure of seed yield in the phase of technical maturity and its quality, the content of essential nutrients in the soil; estimated - assessment of economic and energy efficiency of the studied factors; mathematical and statistical - conducting variance, statistical processing of research results and determining the correlation between the studied factors and yield. Results - the technology of growing pea varieties of domestic selection based on the use of inoculants and plant protection products was improved, which provided increased productivity and seed quality indicators. The development was implemented during 2019-2020 in the farms of the Kherson region, in particular in the DS DS “Askaniyska” of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of NAAS on the area of 160 hectares. Novelty - for the conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine developed elements of technology for growing pea seeds, which increase its productivity at minimal cost due to the standardized use of inoculants for pre-sowing seed treatment and biological and chemical plant protection products. The scientific value - improved resource-saving technology of growing pea varieties of domestic selection by selecting the optimal varietal composition, determining the most effective seed inoculants and plant protection products. The issues of formation of elements of seed productivity of sowing pea varieties, levels of yield formation and quality depending on the studied factors and weather conditions of the vegetation period were further developed. The energy and economic assessment of the developed agricultural measures was carried out. Sector – agriculture.
