Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of study 03 «Humanities», specialty 033 «Philosophy». – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Kyiv, 2021. The dissertation is devoted to the ideological and discursive aspects of the political and philosophical heritage of the Ukrainian diaspora as an integral part of Ukrainian culture. Accordingly, the political philosophy of the Ukrainian diaspora is viewed as an important sphere of Ukrainian national culture. Particular attention is paid to searching for a scientific approach to include the intellectual achievements of Ukrainian diaspora thinkers of the second half of the 20th century in the context of modernization processes in Ukraine. Therefore, the study is aimed at ensuring the development of Ukrainian political philosophy through the involvement of the heritage of diaspora thinkers in its structure. The purpose of the dissertation is to clarify the forms and key approaches to understanding the political and philosophical heritage of the Ukrainian diaspora of the second half of the 20th century; to describe the experience of conceptualizing of «The Ukrainian man» by thinkers of the Ukrainian diaspora thinkers; to reveal the meaning of the concept «The Ukrainian national character» in the philosophical culture of the Ukrainian diaspora.
