Kovalchuk I. Socio-geographical research of balneological resort settlements of Lviv region.

The research on the topic of the dissertation was carried out during 2017–2021 according with the plans of research work of the Department of Economic and Social Geography, Faculty of Geography, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and its Main Department in Lviv Oblast as well as materials collected and processed personally by the author at the in-house and expeditionary stages of the work, were used as the informational base of the thesis research. Domestic and foreign publications on the topic of the dissertation, official Strategies (”Strategy of development of Lviv region for 2021-2027”, ”Strategy of development of mountain territories of Lviv region for 2018-2022”), Programs (”Program of development of tourism, resorts and recreation in the Lviv region for 2018- 2020”,“Program of development of tourism and resorts in the Lviv region for 2021-2025”) and other normative-legal documents of the Lviv region in the field of development of balneological resorts and tourism.
