Odynets A. Philosophical conceptualization of a technological form of life

Dissertation for acquiring the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 033 «Philosophy» (03 – Humanity sciences). The dissertation is devoted to the conceptualization of a broad transdisciplinary discourse related to the possibility of the existence of artificial beings. To distinguish the subject of research, the author introduces the concept of "technological form of life", which means a being created by technology that can develop cognitive and emotional components of consciousness, has its own autonomous body, based on which the possibility of personal experience and ability to qualitatively interact in society is realized. The conceptualization of such a complex and multidimensional phenomenon has led to the appeal to transdisciplinary methodology based on systemic integrated thinking, drawing on the achievements of various disciplines such as phenomenology, psychology, cognitive sciences, robotics, neurophysiology and other areas of modern philosophical thought.
