Korniienko V. Assessment and forecast of water regime and hydropower potential of rivers of the Pripyat basin (within Ukraine).

The study is devoted to the study of the current state of water runoff of rivers of the Pripyat sub-basin within Ukraine (according to the last hydrographic zoning of Ukraine), identification of potential natural hydropower resources of rivers by their water content, analysis of spatial distribution of long-term average runoff and hydropower resources in the near future. The main idea of the work was a comprehensive study of the water regime of the rivers of the Pripyat sub-basin within Ukraine and their hydropower potential. Water security is a pressing issue, as water is an integral part of all life on the planet. Spatio-temporal non-uniformity of water resources becomes a driving force for a comprehensive study of their hydrological regime and a possible prediction of its changes with some prematurity.
