Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of a program for the prevention of gastroduodenitis in patients of retirement age with essential arterial hypertension, the development of a balance model of the medical and economic efficiency of the prevention program, based on two classical economic theories (equilibrium and the theory of maximizing the expected utilities), the assessment of the medical and economic effectiveness of the proposed prevention program according to the developed balance model. The focus of this study was to improve approaches to the prevention of gastroduodenitis in a certain category of the population of Ukraine, namely, in persons of retirement age with essential arterial hypertension. The collateral hypothesis was to determine the medical and economic effectiveness of the Government program «Affordable Medicines». The obtained data made it possible to determine the target groups for which this program is effective. During this study, for the first time in the world, a theoretical model was developed, which is based on two classical theories of economic analysis: the equilibrium and the theory of a rational agent. For the first time in Ukraine, a program for the prevention of gastroduodenitis for patients of retirement age with essential arterial hypertension has been developed.
