The study is dedicated to solving the current problem of modern medicine - improving the diagnosis of structural and functional features of the myocardium in women with essential hypertension and chronic heart failure based on the determination of plasma concentrations of BNP and CNP, taking into account the carrier of polymorphic variants of the brain natriuretic peptide gene (SNP rs198389: T381C). The obtained results regarding the distribution of polymorphic variants of the brain natriuretic peptide gene, the corresponding plasma levels of BNP and CNP, specific indicators of structural remodeling of the myocardium in EH and CHF in the female population of Podillia will allow to improve the diagnosis of LVH in the specified persons and will help to select women who need to conduct an additional in-depth examination. The use of the proposed calculated threshold levels of BNP, which were adjusted in accordance with the inheritance of polymorphic variants of the BNP gene and BMI indicators, is of significant practical importance for improving the early diagnosis of LVH in hypertensive women and in women with CHF. The list of predictors of the development of EH and CHF among women of the Podil region of Ukraine aged 40-65 was determined using the method of mathematical modeling.
