22 "Health care" Talapova Polina. The influence of maternal-fetal infection on the morphofunctional state of the thyroid gland of offspring. The thesis for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Kharkiv National Medical University. – Defended on January 3rd, 2023. UDC [616.441-02:618.3-022]-091.8-092.9. 212 pp.: 21 tables, 76 illustrations. – Bibliography: 316 titles. The dissertation provides a theoretical justification and presents a new solution to an actual scientific and practical problem of medicine, namely, the improvement of the morphological diagnosis of bacterial maternal-fetal infection with a subclinical course through the determination of the influence of the experimental infectious-inflammatory process in the mother-placenta-fetus functional system due to Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae separately on the morphofunctional state of the thyroid gland of offspring based on an experimental pathomorphological study with block randomization and use of digital media. The morphofunctional states of the thyroid gland of offspring that developed under conditions of bacterial subclinical infections caused separately by Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae, chronic intrauterine hypoxia and physiological pregnancy were established and compared. An evidence-based method of complex pathomorphological diagnosis of the influence of maternal-fetal infection on the morphofunctional state of the thyroid gland of offspring has been developed on experimental material using digital morphometry, immunofluorescence analysis, the ImageJ software for processing and analyzing scientific images and the RStudio integrated development environment for R language.
