Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improving the results of surgical treatment of patients with varicothrombophlebitis in the great saphenous vein by developing a set of successive surgical measures related to the prevention of deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities and pulmonary embolism. The clinical study 10 optimized the approach to the treatment of patients with acute varicothrombophlebitis and transfascial thrombosis in the basin of the great saphenous vein depending on the cause, concomitant pathology, venous blood flow, hemostasiogram, localization of the length and duration of thrombosis. Indications, contraindications and surgical techniques for the treatment of varicothrombophlebitis in the basin of the great saphenous vein and prevention of pulmonary embolism have been developed. Criteria for the effectiveness of treatment and follow-up of patients with atypical forms of acute varicothrombophlebitis are determined. A complex medical diagnostic algorithm for this category of patients is proposed. Mini-invasive surgical methods for the treatment of acute varicothrombophlebitis and transfascial thrombosis in the great saphenous vein basin and prevention of pulmonary embolism have been developed and applied in practice. The evaluation of the conducted studies proved the high efficiency of surgical treatment in acute varicothrombophlebitis and transfascial thrombosis in the basin of the great saphenous vein. Based on a quantitative analysis of long-term results and assessment of the quality of life of patients using the international classification CEAP, confirmed the motivation of the tasks and the validity of the total achievements. Key words: acute varicothrombophlebitis, transfascial thrombosis, inflow varicothrombophlebitis, venous hemodynamics, venous magistral, great saphenous 22 vein, venous reflux, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, thromboembolism, thrombectomy, crossectomy, stripping, phlebocentesis.
