Essay

Today, the problem of treating patients with occlusive stenotic lesions of the lower leg arteries remains unsolved, when in many cases there are contraindications to open surgical intervention, and X-ray endovascular operations cannot be performed for technical reasons. Only 23-57% of such patients manage to perform direct revascularization, 16% immediately perform a primary amputation at the level of the thigh, and 25% perform small amputations, despite attempts at direct revascularization. The dissertation is devoted to improving the results of treatment of patients with critical ischemia of the lower extremities by determining the effectiveness of revascularization methods aimed at improving the main and collateral blood flow by studying changes in transcutaneous oxygen tension.
