Essay

The continuous spectrum of light atomic nuclei is a very interesting and important object of research and has attracted the attention of theorists and experimenters for many years. The explanation is simple. Light nuclei, as a rule, have only a small number of states of the discrete spectrum. The vast majority of their excited states are in the continuous spectrum. Despite the importance of studying the states of the continuous spectrum of light atomic nuclei, for a long time theoretical research was limited only to problems related to the problem of bound states
