Lynnyk O. Administration of Investments in the Economy of Ukraine in the Context of Globalization

It has been determined that the state's role in creating conditions for attracting investments is defined by the following: 1) ensuring the legal regulation of investments and investment activities in Ukraine; 2) developing the foundations of state investment policy, which should legally consolidate the investment market as an object of state investment policy; 3) distinguishing a system of principles that define the investor's participation in the state's development and protect national interests, particularly the "open-door" principle; 4) ensuring the functioning of competent public administration entities, organizing their interaction in fulfilling assigned tasks, addressing issues of cooperation between authorities, and ensuring horizontal coordination of local community leaders concerning investments; 5) cooperation with local self-government bodies in developing investment projects and presenting the advantages of certain administrative-territorial units; 6) engaging civil society institutions and considering their opinions in identifying priority investment projects and overseeing their implementation; 7) ensuring anti-corruption measures at various levels; 8) involving effective managers, crisis managers, and other specialists to promote and highlight the advantages of investment projects in Ukraine; 9) providing state guarantees in cases where the state is a party to the investment projects; 10) taking measures to help businesses feel comfortable and confident, which primarily entails changes in tax and investment legislation regarding tax preferences, subsidies, etc.
