Today in Ukraine, in the field of electricity, one of the most urgent problems is the problem of reducing losses during the transmission and distribution of electricity, which is due to the low (88.4%) efficiency of existing lines. On October 14, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Concept of the implementation of "smart grids" in Ukraine by 2035 as one of the ways to solve this problem. As a result of the implementation of the Action Plan by the Concept by 2035, it is expected to reduce electricity losses in power grids in Ukraine as a whole from 11.6% to 7.5% or by 6 billion kWh.
The dissertation is devoted to the development of a system for controlling the secondary parameters of power transmission lines to increase the efficiency of the use of these lines. The developed system refers to the concept of "smart networks", thereby emphasizing the relevance of the conducted research.
The object of research is a process of electricity transmission along the power line.
The subject of the research is way to reduce losses during electricity transmission, due to maintenance of matched load mode in power transmission lines.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results is as follows:
1. For the first time, a method of increasing the efficiency of transmission of electrical energy in lines by using the matched load mode was proposed, which made it possible to create mathematical models for controlling the wave resistance of the line.
2. The mathematical model of wave processes in connected controlled power transmission lines received further development due to the consideration of two modes of sinusoidal oscillations, which made it possible to investigate the influence of both modes on the regime of the matched load of the line.
3. The mathematical model of quasi-inhomogeneous line was further developed, which differs from the existing ones by taking into account the distributed load of the line when determining its input resistance, which made it possible to take into account the dynamic change of the real distributed load during automatic control of the secondary parameters of the line.
4. For the first time, a method of automatic control of the wave resistance of a controlled power transmission line was developed, which made it possible to create an appropriate control information system for a two-chain line.
The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the creation of schemes of controlled power transmission lines, and algorithm and information technology for tracking load parameters at the end of the line and automatic control of its secondary parameters to ensure the operation of the system in matched load of the line with a dynamic change of the real distributed load.
The results of the dissertation work are used in the educational process of the departments of electromechanical engineering and power supply, and energy management of the National University "Odesa Polytechnic", in particular, when teaching the disciplines: "Theoretical foundations of electrical engineering", "Software tools in the design and modeling of energy systems", and are also used in the formation of topics and themes of bachelor's and master's qualification works.
The results of the dissertation were implemented by «ООО Komplekselektromontazh» LLC when creating project documentation for the reconstruction of existing and the design of new cable and overhead lines with a voltage of 110 kV.
The results of the dissertation work were implemented by "Polytech Electro Scientific and Technical Enterprise" LLC, namely the use of the proposed information management system in its own project solutions.
