The work has been devoted to the theoretical development and experimental verification of a scientifically based system of training future educators to form primary ideas about the natural environment in preschoolers. The author of the dissertation has analyzed the source base on the state of development of the problem of forming primary ideas about the natural environment in preschoolers and has stated their diversity and multifacetedness. It has been found that the issue of training future educators to form primary ideas about the natural environment in preschool children, qualitative updating of the content of training future educators of preschool educational institutions and the formation of the necessary competencies is not sufficiently researched.
