Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to the rationale of creating a restorative treatment department for patients with respiratory diseases in a regional sanatorium. The methodology of (rehabilitation) of patients with bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive bronchitis and those after pneumonia has been developed for one and the same climatic geographic conditions. It has been shown that after the in-patient treatment the patients are discharged with the residual phenomena of the disease and this makes it necessary to undertake the restorative treatment course in a specialized sanatorial department for the sake of preventing the pathological process from becoming cronic. The usage of the developed rehabilitation and treatment complexes which include the resort and physiotherapeutical factors, shortterm and weak manifestations of adaptational reactions - all this leads to a good therapeutic effect which is proved by the results of a distant follow-up observations.
