Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in the specialty 14.01.33 «Medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy and balneology» (22 - Health protection). - Odessa National Medical University, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Odessa, 2021. Based on experimental and clinical studies, differentiated approaches to the use of non-drug remedies for restorative treatment have been substantiated based on taking into account the characteristics of long-term and short-term adaptation of body's functional systems, depending on the direction and intensity of physical activity. It has been shown that long-term adaptation of the cardiovascular and immune systems and the body's metabolism during physical activity is of a staged nature. The factor structure of physical working capacity during physical activity can be described by two factors - power and efficiency; their ratio depends on the activity's direction. For practical purposes of operational and express control of the functional state, the examination can be limited to studying the most informative criteria - critical power during anaerobic loads, watt-pulse with mixed, and relative MOC and relative AMT power during aerobic loads. Experimental internal use of the balneological agent «Magnesium-Containing Oil» has a powerful calming effect on the central nervous system, somewhat increases motor activity, leads to the restoration of autonomic reactions, and a noticeable improvement in emotional activity. Clinical trials have shown that «Magnesium-Containing Oil» affects anxiety and depressive symptoms, exhibiting the properties of a balanced antidepressant. The severity of depression in most patients decreased from «moderate» or «severe» to «mild» in the standard interpretation of HDRS. The use of an aqueous solution of Chlorella Vulgaris in healthy individuals with systematic physical activity contributes to positive changes in the body's composition, manifests itself in a decrease in the fat component and an increase in the muscle component. The economization of the heart's work in a state of relative muscular rest increases, which is manifested in a significant decrease in heart rate and systolic blood pressure. The degree of saturation of erythrocytes with hemoglobin significantly increases. It is proved that the inclusion of the food product for special medical purposes in patients with coronary artery disease at the sanatorium stage of rehabilitation has a significant positive effect on the cardiovascular system's functional state, which is manifested in the improvement of hemodynamics during exercise. The total composition of the body changes; there is a significant decrease in the percentage and total body fat level, which is an essential factor in the prevention of possible complications and progression of coronary artery disease. Lipid metabolism normalizes, which is reflected in a decrease in the level of total cholesterol and triglycerides, optimization of the ratio of HDL and LDL fractions, correction of the level and ratio of AST and ALT enzymes. The quality of life is improving, and for men, this is manifested by a significant increase in all spheres - physical, psychological, independence, and social; and for women - physical and psychological.
