Subject of research - rectangular steel concrete beam, strengthened by the steel tie-rod; purpose -elaboration of: structures and joint elements; methodology of calculation, taking into account peculiarity of materials' deformation. Research methods - experimental and theoretical (PC and manual). Proposed structures, also with pre-stressed elements and methodology of calculation were practically used in "Juzhtransstroj" corporation.
