Essay

In the dissertation, the urgent scientific and practical task of increasing the light output of LED fixtures has been set and solved based on perfection of methods of designing and development of energy efficient lighting device using computer software. The design stages are developed and the method of calculation of the LED luminaire is proposed. That effectively dissipates the heat generated by it irrespective of the environmental conditions, which makes it possible to increase the characteristics (lighting and electrical) of the modern LED luminaire at the stage of its design and to ensure uninterrupted operation lighting products in lighting markets. Method of calculating the complex geometry of the heat sink radiator is based on the simulation of heat fluxes and the calculation of thermal loads, is improved. That allows to optimize the influence of the temperature of the LED modules on the value of the output lumens of light. The results of the lighting calculation and thermographic analysis of the manufactured sample LED device are presented.
