Agafonova A. Authorization Constructions in Modern Ukrainian

The dissertation offers a complex and systematic description of authorization constructions in Ukrainian. The syntactic nature of the phenomenon of authorization and semantico-syntactic structure of authorization constructions are treated with the help of recent achievements of Ukrainian and world linguistics. The notion of authorization which is closely connected with the emotive and expressive functions of the language has been specified in respect of semantic, functional and communicative syntax; the means of expressing of the object of authorization and the subject of authorization as well as the authorized assessment in Ukrainian have been described; the authorization has been considered as a semantic complication of an elementary (simple) sentence; the syntactic units complicated with the authorization semi-predicative component as well as the sentences with the authorization addressing and the authorization vocative communicate, with the paranthetic and introduced authorization components have b een analysed.
