. Subject matter: adjectival word-forming chains. Aim: to discover and to interpret formal-semantic typology of adjectival word-forming chains of the modern Ukrainian language. Methods: structural-semantic, descriptive, component and statistic analysis. Results: they can be used for writting of manuals about the word-forming and of the dictionary, holding of different kind of seminars and courses. Spheres of application: research and pedagogical practice.
