Subject: spring wheat. Purpose: to establish correlations between traits of yield structure of spring wheat to reveal selection criteria of the elite and to determine valuable economic characters in the samples of original material. Methods: morphological, biochemical, technological, statistical. Results: 975 samples of spring wheat are studied. There have been fond the sources of productivity, grain quality, resistance to lodging and major diseases. 6 cultivars of spring wheat have been developed. The cultivar of spring common wheat Kharkovskaya 26 has been import in The state schedule of the brands of the plants of Ukraine on 2000 year. Area of usage: selection establishments.
