Sherman O. Artistic peculiarities of the Russian historical novel of the second half of the XIX century and problems of development of the genrе

The subject of the research is the evolution process, tendencies of development and artistic peculiarities of the Russian historical novel of the second half of the XIX century. The aim of the dissertation is construction ooncept of the genre development in 1850-1900. Used methods: analysis of system, germenevtic way of the text research. Theoretical and practical meaning: concept of the genre development during the said period in the Russian literature, which created, can be used in further studies of the history of the Russianї literature, and for instruction in higher educational establishment. Scientific novelty of the results of the research is that this work for the first times examines evolution of the Russian historical novel of the second half of the XIX century in the light of modern conceptsof development of the genre.
