Martsyshyn R. Time-scale modification of speech signals in interactive control systems

The dissertation is devoted to questions of time-scale transformation of speech signals in interactive control systems. In the dissertation is designed temporal model, time-scale warping function, algorithm of cepstral modification of speech and corrective cepstral function, which one are based on use homomorphic analysis-synthesis of speech. The new methods of time-scale transformation and of analysis/synthesis of speech is offered on the basis basis of modified short-term cepstral transforming and algorithms of time-scale transformation of speech with use of systems of analysis-synthesis, the high effectiveness of them is proved theoretically and affirmed practically. The basic results of work have found practical applying in a line of systems and processes of transforming of the speech information.
