Skomarovs'kyj O. The prophilaxis and the treatment of gastrointestinal tract paresis after colonic surgery.

The dissertation is devoted to the topic of the prophilaxis and the treatment of gastrointestinal tract paresis after colonic surgery. In the experemental part of the work there was studed a promotional influence of Lactulosa on motor function of jejunum; also there was established that microlide group antibiotic with 14-chain lactone circle - Sumamed has considerable gastroenterocinetic properties and enhanses both contractile function and evacuation from stomach and duodenum. The clinical part of the investigation is devoted to results of treatment of 101 patients with gastrointestinal tract motor function disturbances after colonic surgery. There was established the effectiveness of the Sumamed application in patients after colonic surgery for the gastroparesis treatment. The usage of Lactulosa before and after operation noticeably increases contractile and propulsive activity of large bowel distal parts. It's was developed and applied the method of pneumoballoon stimulation of large bowel distal pa rts peristalsis with the aim of prophilaxis of postoperative paresis of large bowel in patients with colostomy and also for the treatment of ileus after surgery that was performed because of different large bowel deseases. There were received positive results in 91% of patients.
