Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of natural conditions of forming the maximum run - off, to the analysis of estimate schemes for calculating maximum water discharge of spring flood during the absence of observation data. On the basis of the theoretical analysis and the evidence of the stationary network of the State Committee of Ukraine on Hydrometeorology up to and including 1994 scientifically substantiated recommendations have been developed to make more precise parameters of the SNIP 2.01.14-83 standard formula and the regional formula of V. I. Moklyak has been perfected. Methods have been elaborated to determine its parameters. The research carried out solves the scientific practical task of improving the preciseness of calculating maximum water discharge of spring flood for rivers of the North - Western region of Ukraine.
