Tymoshchuk V. Improvement of the methods of calculating the parameters waves of translations, taking into account the lateral inflow in upper reservoirs of hydroelectric pump storage power plant

In the thesis it was made analyses of processes that influences of the occurrence and transmission the waves of translations in the upper reservoirs of the HPSPP during the startup, operation and stopping of units in pumping mode. The developed improvements for the method of calculating the parameters of the waves of translations, taking into account the lateral inflow of the liquid, allow to determine the height of the waves when starting, operating and stopping the units of the HPSPP. The total value of the parameters the waves of translations and wind waves determines the maximum value of the height of the wave flow at the slope. This allows the most accurately determine the required margin for marking the crest of enclosing dams. This method, with the additions and recommendations, more accurately describes the phenomenon of formation the waves of translations in the upper reservoirs of the HPSPP. Developed recommendations on the use of modern control equipment and calculations of the characteristics the waves of translations taking into account the lateral inflow in the upper reservoirs of the HPSPP. The points and conclusions of the dissertation can be used in the design, construction, operation and reconstruction of water reservoirs of the HPSPP and other water-energy objects where occur the waves of translations, which increases their reliability.
