3. In this dissertation the structure and development of the men's and women's subsystems of the Ukrainian name register of the town of Lutsk in the XX-th century are investigated. The formation of the modern noun of the town is observed, the specificity, main regularity and the tendencies of its development are elucidated on the base of 56137 men's and 52980 women's names of the newborns in 1900-1995 years.
