The dissertarion is devoted to the research of the role of the United Nations Organisation in the settlement of conflicts in former Yugoslavia in the first part of the 90 years, particularlly it analisies military and economic operations of the UNO in former Yugoslavia, humanitarian activity of the UNO in the region and international diplomatic searching of the ways to solve the yugoslavian crisis and activity of the UNO in the implementation of the signed treaties. A comparative analyses has been made of the ukranian and foreign literature of the investigated problem. The activity of the international conference on the problems of former Yugoslavia has been also studied.
