Kkhanal K. Clinical, therapeutic and prognostic value of myocardial electrophysiological characteristics variability during acute myocardial infarction

This research work is devoted to solve particular problem of modern cardiology, predicting possibility of malignant ventricular arrhythmias after acute myocardial infarction with determination of repolarization dispersion of the left ventricle. In this research work in addition to analysis and comparison of all 23 repolarization interval and dispersion markers(characteristics), dynamic changes of these markers in postinfarction period of follow-up of one month, influence of drugs like streptokinase, atenolol, enalapril and amiodaron on the value of repolarization dispersion, change in the value repolarization dispersion in relation to the localization of the infarction, size of the necrosis, contractile function of the myocardium defined by ejection fraction and presence or absence of ventricular arrhythmias are studied. Overall pathophysiological factors are studied and prognostic value of those markers are revealed as simple, accessible and noninvasive method of prognosis for malignant ventricular ar rhythmias after acute myocardial infarction.
