Tertychna V. Self-perfection of the personality: culturological aspect

The thesis is devoted to analysis of self-perfection process of the personality as cultorological problem. The methodology of cultorological approach to the study of this phenomenon is devised. The forms of realized self-development of the personality - self-education and self-perfection - are differentiated on its basis. The spiritual and moral nature of self-perfection process of the personality is substantiated and its concept is specified. On the basis of comparative analysis the nature and the essence of the realized forms of the personality self-development in the West-European, Ukrainian and Russian cultural traditions are investigated. Contradictions of self-development models realization of the personality in the conditions of the 20th century are considered.
