Isomorphisms and allomorphisms of the descriptions (language interpretations) of stereotypical referential situations in English, Ukrainian and Russian within the second type of translation equivalence analyzed. A number of factors that cause differences in the language descriptions of stereotypical referential situations have been determined. The methods of the investigation are the contrastive and systematic analysis, component, contextual-presuppositional, transformational methods and method of translation parallels. The results can be applied at the courses of Theoretical Grammar, Theory and Practice of Translation, General Linguistic, Contrastive Typology.
