Protsyk I. Ukrainian Physical Terminology of late fifties of ХІХ century - late thirties of ХХ century.

Dissertation is dedicated to the history of establishment and physical terminology peculiarities development in the period of late fifties of XIX century - early forties of XX century. It is based on the analysis of works in physics and dictionary of physical terms. Leading tendencies of term building in different periods of national physical term system formation as well as genetic and structural word building characteristics of UPT have been distinguished; ways and means of term derivation have been determined; physical term word building models and their productiveness has been described and analyzed.
