Essay

The absolute verbs of the Modern Ukrainian language. The functional semantical nature of the absolute verbs is complexly analysed. In this work the descriptive and distributive methods have been used. The numeral class of the absolute verbs has been selected, the semantical structure of such verbs has been characterised, the formal-grammatical and semantic-syntactical specification of the absolute verbs lexical-semantical groups has been investigated. The results of the research will be used in compile of text-books and world-building dictionaries.
