Melikhova T. Landscape ecological analysis of environmental state of modern town areas (exemplified by town of Rivne)

The thesis is devoted to problems of the research of territory of modern town areas concerning environmental condition favorable for human life. In a dissertation, using landscape and ecological approach, factorial analysis of the city territory is made and following group or factors of the anthropogenic origin which form this condition is chosen and proposed: thechnogenic boarding of indirect influence, contamination, naturalism, comfort. On the grounds of these factors classification of the regions conduciveness for living of the men is developed and substantiated as well as ecological and geographical division into districts is conducted. This classification combines both quantitative and qualitative characteristics, landscape ecological research and zoning is based on a comprehensive system of methods. As a result of the researche done and zoning we suggested measures for improving the town environmental atate by optimising the natural subsystem observing principles of rational use of nature in the process of carring out urbanisation and suburbanisation
