Chernets'ka T. Middle classes as a subject matter of sociological research and a subject of social action

The object of research is the social-class structure of society and its sociological conceptions. The aim of research is systematization of the middle classes sociological analysis, generalization of the conceptual approaches to these problems inquiry, development of the ways of their theoretical synthesis, characterization of the middle classes as social action subjects. Sociological and statistical methods of research are used. Characterization of the concept of a middle class and description of the middlr classes as social action subjects are main theoretical and practical results of research. Systematization of the results of the middle classes sociological analysis, generalization and improvement of the conceptual approaches to this phenomenon, development of the ways of their implementation to research of the social-class structure of Ukraine are new scientific moments of the thesis. The materials are applied to teaching sociology. The fields of application are sociology and social policy.
