Essay

A design method is developed for connecting and control module of road construction machines on the basis of its load degree study. In order to increase efficiency of modular road construction machinery design an information and search system has been built on the basis of electronic catalogues of Class 30 kN wheeled machines. An adequate mathematical model has been created to define load degree of a connecting and control module under asymmetrical application of external load and a random semiframe folding angle. In order to check the assumptions in mathematical model and the calculation schedule experimental studies were performed to define the load degree of steering hydraulic drive. A method has been proposed for optimization of connecting and control module hinge sheath on the basis of evaluation of its stressed deformed state using final elements method.
