Geographical terms of Volyn. The main task of the dissertaion is to investigate structural and semantic peculiarities of Volyn geographical terms in the literary Ukrainian language, its dialects and some Slav languages. Methods of investigation are comparative, structural, typological, statistical, and linguogeographical. Terms have been compiled, desnribed, and explained. Peculiar features of the geographical terms of Volyn region have been found out as well. The area of usage is scientific work of students, sociolinguistics, translation, lexicography, dialect studies.
