Essay

The influence of corrugated waveguide wall, plasma density nonuniformity and parameters of a dielectric sheath of finite cross–sizes on a dispersion of extraordinary polarized surface waves (EPSW) is studied. The peculiarities of beam and parametrical excitation of EPSW are investigated. The model of a stationary gas discharge sustained by EPSW at the second harmonics of electronic and ion cyclotron frequency is carried out under the condition collisional wave damping.
